(suffix) informal way of using the names of (mostly female) persons and children. Can have a belitteling or cute connotation. E.g. Nakamura-chan 中村ちゃん. cf -kun.

What is etchi to me might appear as hentai to girls. Things I consider somewat sexy might be "pervers" seen from the perspective of a girl.

kanji 漢字 (originally Chinese) Japanese (logographic) characters
kanojo 彼女 informal way to say "she"; also girlfriend
kare informal way to say "he"; also boyfriend
kawaii 可愛い cute; pretty; lovely; charming; dear; darling; pet
kendōka (kandouka) 剣道家 someone who does kendō 剣道, Japanese swordmanship; fencing (as a rule employing a wooden sword as a substitute for the real thing)
kimi an informal way to say "you" especially when a male adresses a female cf. anata, omae
kisama 貴様 informal or rude way to say "you" used by males
kodomo 子供 children
konnichi wa 今日は hello; good day; good afternoon
-kun くん (suffix) informal way of using the names of (mostly male) persons or boys. Only towards persons of equal or lower social standing. e.g. Honda-kun 本田くん. cf -san

manwha 만화 (漫畵) Korean manga

omae お前 informal or rude way to say "you" mostly used by males
ore somewhat rough or boastfull way to say "I" for male persons cf. boku
otaku オタク manga/animefan (in Japan otaku オタク means geek; nerd; enthusiast)
Otoire wa sochira/achira desu おトイレはそちら/あちらです The bathroom is that way

rotenburo 露天風呂 natural (open air) warm water spring which is used as a public bath
-san さん (suffix) normal way to adress somebody using his or her name. E.g. Honda-san 本ださん. Not strictly equivalent to mister or "misiz" since those English words are limited to formal situations. cf sensei, sama
-sama (suffix) polite way to adress a superior using his or her name. E.g. Nakamura-sama. 中村さま. cf. -sensei
seinen 青年 youth; young man. Short for seinen manga 青年漫画, manga (comix) orginally targeted at a 18 - 25 year old male audience, but reaching much older agegroups as well
senpai 先輩 a superior viewed from the perspective of the speaker (my superior) or a third person (his superior), e.g. older schoolmates, older collegues, etc. Antonym is kōhai 後輩, junior.

teacher; master; doctor; any superior with more schooling or status. Can be used both as a name suffix or as independent title.

shōjo (shoujo) 少女 manga targeted at girls
shōnen (shounen) 少年 manga targeted at boys

sumimasen 住みません sorry; excuse me; I apologize; forgive me
washi わし a way an elderly person might say "I"
