Manga: Japanese comics
Strangely western comics where already made for more adult audiences (in contrast to cartoons). But as anime became more popular in the west, manga couldn't stay behind. Maybe it's not as popular as the cartoons. But for collectors and otaku's it's a welcome addition to their hobby.
